How We Spend Our Design Time
3D rendering is the process of creating images based on three-dimensional data. We spend a great deal of our time transforming your idea and/or concept into this data so that the final result is a 3d product and or 2D image that reflects the client’s purpose, passion & philosophy. We are able to assist architects, developers, designers and manufactures at varying stages of the development process by utilizing a vast array modeling techniques, software platforms and rendering engines.
Our Project Workflow

Gather References
Here we collect as much existing data as possible from the client through meetings, online research and on-site visits. This collaborative process and open lines of communication ensure the end result meets, if not exceeds the clients expectations.

Massing/Base Modeling
At this point, we use the references to create a base model for your project describing the overall interior/exterior space. In regards to product design, here we would build the basic components for your prototype. We do this using Autodesk Software including Inventor, REVIT & 3ds Max depending upon application.

Refine Camera
After creating the overall space, we take a few camera shots for the clients review. Here we can determine how many angles are needed to fully describe the clients vision. At this stage, we can begin to discuss the level of detail that would like to be presented in the final product. For those requesting virtual walkthroughs, various camera paths can be reviewed and chosen from before moving into the detailing stages. These preliminary views provide the client a great opportunity to further refine their vision and provide input along the way.

Model Detailed Components
With the clients direction, we begin to add all the specialty components, furniture and fixtures required to develop an inhabitable space. Architectural decorative details, landscaping and the placement of the entourage are considered at this time. Using a vast library of assets, we are able to efficiently populate your base model with the detail required to speak your 1000+ words. Our 3d modeling expertise allow us to create assets unique to each project, so be creative in your vision. We can make it happen!
- Texture/Materials
In the area of photo-realism, texturing and materials are two of the most important items to consider. The clients input is vital at this stage as we aim to please; however, we take full advantage of the virtual possibilities and provide our clients with screenshots of varying texture/material combinations. From wall coverings, flooring and fabrics, our goal is to give you what you want.
- Lighting
From interiors to exteriors, the key a great photo is the lighting. We pay special attention to our lighting settings during rendering and the post-production process. In additio to lighting the scene for clarity, we are able to light your project for a variety of weather/seasonal conditions as well as night/day scenarios.
- Preliminary Render/Animation
All work to this point is performed with the upmost attention to detail and quality; however, due to the time associated with the rendering process overall the images share with the client are only preliminary. Upon approval of everything developed to this point, including the details, textures, materials, lighting, camera angles/paths, we will proceed with preparing the final submittal.
- Final Submittal Upon Approval
With your approval, this is where we go to work setting our 3D and video rendering engines to the highest settings to deliver the highest quality product possible. All images and animations undergo a detailed post-production phase to further enhance the color, lighting, sharpness and sound of the final product.
